Through an extensive pre-clinical research program, Intradigm has established proof-of-concept for its broad RNAI therapeutic platform. To date, the company has shown:
- Ability to identify potent, patentable siRNA sequences
- Capability of PolyTran delivery technology to mediate target gene knockdown both in vitro and in vivo
- Systemic delivery of siRNAs to tumors and other tissues.
- Local inhaled delivery of siRNAs to, and successful cellular uptake by, the lungs
- Potent anti-tumor activity in multiple xenograft tumor models for PolyTran nanoparticles
